"Our mission is to teach children and adults the various styles
of dance in a positive, supportive and nurturing environment.
We want to enlighten, excite and stimulate our students so they
gain confidence and have fun as they learn. We hope that the discipline of dance, as well as the freedom to express themselves, will help all students in other areas of their lives."

Please arrive 10 minutes early if you need to change. The bathroom is NOT a changing room! Dance bags and all belongings should be left in the dressing room. Please label all dancewear, shoes and dance bags. MainStage Dance Academy is not responsible for any loss of personal items and valuables. Please keep the dressing room clean. Also, please make sure you have all your belongings before leaving. All trash must be put in the garbage can in the waiting room.

WAITING ROOM
Our waiting room is for parents and family. Parents are not allowed to watch classes because it is very distracting to the child. Families are invited to observe the last 15 minutes of class during the first weeks of November and April. Since we are only one room, it is important for parents to keep voices down while teaching is going on. We really appreciate your cooperation in this matter. Students must remain in the waiting room until their parents arrive to pick them up.

TEACHING ROOM
THERE IS ABSOLUTLEY NO GUM CHEWING ALLOWED DURING CLASS! Food, candy and sodas are not allowed in the teaching room! The teacher will always give a break during class in order for children to get a drink of water. Drinking water during class is not allowed. It is very unhealthy to drink excessively while working out. Water bottles are allowed in the dressing rooms. It is suggested you label the bottle to avoid children exchanging germs. We want your child in class. Not sick in bed!

ATTENDANCE
Attendance will be taken every week. Makeups will be given for all missed classes. Children will makeup in a class that is similar or as close as possible to the one that they are studying. PLEASE BE ON TIME FOR YOUR CLASS!! We aim to start classes at the exact time they are scheduled. If you know in advance that your child is going to be absent, please tell the teacher so we can schedule a makeup.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY TO SCHEDULE A MAKEUP CLASS.
